This is one the pretending calls from a human when it is just a computer calling. I now have 6 blocked numbers. This technology where a company can pretend to be from one location when they are not must be stopped as this is also been used push payment fraud. You report one number they just set up another one from a major city in the uk. I've got 0116, 0121, 0114, 0117, 0151 & 0113.
Had 2 texts from PO Money with MTAN code, but I don't have a Post Office Account. Couple of days later I received a text from 00443456081126 saying 'Thank you for your recent request for a Balance Transfer from your PO Credit Card. If you did not make this request, contact us urgently and then the number. I rang off a landline and it was answered, but it was Ireland and the person just wanted to transfer me to Customer Services. This is a scam of some sort and maybe I was supposed to click the link to the phone number.
